Cyclades islands: Athens, Alimos, kalamaki base

The marina of Alimosis located South-West of Athens in Alimos orKalamaki city and is one of the largest marinas in Greece and the Mediterranean Sea. The marinaoffers approx. 1.100 berths, and services such as fuel supply, electric power, water supply, parking, restaurants, café-bars, toilets and showers, ATM cash point, internet, VHF(channel 71), port authorities etc.

If you land in Athens International Airport, you will be approx. 33km away from Athens center, and approx. 35km from Alimos marina. You can reach Alimos marina by: Public bus transportation, combination of subway-metro and tram line.

The public bus transportation will take you directly outside the marina and it runs approx. every 20-30 minutes. The estimated time is about 90 minutes and it depends on the traffic. Tickets can be purchased outsideof the airport main hall.

The subway-metro, will take you to Syntagma Square which is in the center of Athens. Continuing f rom there, you can get the Tram Line to Alimos marina.

Getting a Taxi is the quickest and easiest way to reach Alimos marina. Outside the airport main hall, you can find plenty of taxis waiting. Depending on the traffic, it is approx. 45 min. away and it costs about 50 Euros
